I started photography at the age of twelve, when a family friend gave me an at-home darkroom kit. Shortly after that, I found my Dad’s college darkroom set-up in storage. I took off from there. Been doing it for over fifty years.

My favorite photographers are Richard Avedon and and Fan Ho. I’ve been lucky enough to have rubbed elbows with some very good pro photographers, from whom I learned a lot. Those included Patricia Ridenour, Claire Garoutte, Branson Reynolds and the infamous Bob Shell.
