I joined the camera club in 1992. While always having an interest in photography, I didn't know much about the technical aspects. I have learned so much over the years after listening to hundreds of critiques. The friendships and camaraderie within the club have been tremendous. I made a commitment back in 1992 that I would ALWAYS enter subject of the month. I have stayed true to that promise! I like having a subject of the month since it forces me to shoot outside my comfort level.
I cannot think of a better hobby to have than photography. Not only do you chronicle your life through pictures, but you gain a better appreciation of the world around you.
